new D&T curriculum at both KS3 & 4 requires

that reflect different values. Creativity is high on
the national agenda & what better way of opening
students' eyes to a whole new world than to dip in to
the Starbeck van."

"Unfortunately
I was detained by about 40 minutes but Stewart was prepared
to wait & are we glad he did! When I & my deputy
finally got to Stewart & the van we were amazed!.
We explored the content of the van first & wanted
everything we saw. A liitle impractical, so we took
advice from Stewart & managed to select items that
would ensure that the diverse cultures of or children
were well represented. The value boxes meant that we
had received more for our money. Certain items straight
away & the following day, when the children saw
them, they created a great deal of interest. We now
eagerly await the other resources."
E Shannon, Highfields Primary School, Doncaster
