Convers Wyeth (1882-1945) was one of America's preeminent
illustrators. His art-work brought to vivid life the lusty
characters in such classic books as Treasure Island, The
Last of the Mohicans, and The Deerslayer,
and his illustrations appeared regularly in the leading periodicals
of the day. A prolific artist, Wyeth produced an enormous
volume of work, including morfe than three thousand known
paintings and forty four enormous murals. This book of postcards
presents thirty of his most masterful and memorable works.
